Hey! That's me!

Hey I'm Eric Eduardo Saavedra Garcia and thanks for checking me out! I'm am:
I am a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
During my time there, I successfully completed projects in Product Design, Biotech, Automation, Robotics, and Manufacturing, demonstrating my ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems.
I am also an active participant in communities that support underrepresented groups, reflecting my commitment to inclusivity and collaboration. For instance, I was involved in UCLA's chapter of Engineers Without Borders for every year of my undergrad as team lead and eventually project manager. I was also heavily involved in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) @ UCLA and helped bring about change that enabled future generations of leaders.
Given my background and passion, I am eager to explore opportunities in a hands on fast paced environment that has a goal of making real impact on people's lives, such as in the consumer electronics or biotech space . If you're seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking engineer for your team, I invite you to connect with me. I'd be delighted to discuss how my skills and experiences can contribute to your organization.

Navajo Water Project - Power Team evaluating a roof prior to Solar Panel installation. Projects/experiences that serve and uplift underprivileges communities are why I love engineering.

I love treating professors as people and often half jokingly offered them to join my friends for dinner. When Lightning strikes its likely a storm, leading me to have dinner with two of them at once

Also feel free to get a taste of my personality on the left. I love engaging in my community and being a beacon for involvement. A few highlights are my love for grilling, not just for the meats but for the meets that people have with each other, comedy shows, which I have hosted, and general outgoingness.
